Go to http://www.silverlist.org/, click on the link on the left side which says: "Off Topic List".

Scroll down to where it says the following and follow the instructions:

To receive the Silver Off Topic List as /*individual messages*/, send an e-mail message with the body empty and the word /*'subscribe'*/ in the Subject field to:

*silver-off-topic-list-requ...@eskimo.com *...or *click here <mailto:silver-off-topic-list-requ...@eskimo.com?subject=subscribe>.*

To receive the Off Topic List in */batch/* or */digest/* form, send an e-mail message with the body empty and the word */'subscribe'/* in the Subject field to:

*silver-off-topic-digest-requ...@eskimo.com *...or *click here <mailto:silver-off-topic-digest-requ...@eskimo.com?subject=subscribe>.*

Make sure that your e-mail address appears correctly in the From: field of your message, and that the word */subscribe/* is spelled correctly.

If you're successful the server will send a confirming e-mail explaining list Mission, Rules, and Instructions for managing your subscription. You will then begin to receive messages or digests as they are sent.
