I haven't followed the whole discussion and the question I have might have been asked before.

I just caught this email, and wondered re your question about info about peripheral neuropathy. I read that you have high bloodpressure. Are you on any prescription meds  for cholesterol(statins) by any chance?

TTP is

Thrombocytopenia is a deficiency of platelets (thrombocytes).
  • Thrombocytopenia occurs when the bone marrow makes too few platelets or when too many platelets are destroyed.
  • Bleeding in the skin and bruising occur.
  • Blood tests are used to make the diagnosis and determine the cause.
  • Sometimes platelet transfusions are needed.

The blood usually contains about 140,000 to 440,000 platelets per microliter. Bleeding can occur with relatively minor trauma when the platelet count falls below about 50,000 platelets per microliter of blood. The most serious risk of bleeding, however, generally does not occur until the platelet count falls below 10,000 to 20,000 platelets per microliter. At these very low levels, bleeding may occur without any injury. The last count I had from the VA hospital was 23,000.

Sol,
I don't recall if you mentioned whether or not you are diabetic and that the
PN is from that condition.

One of the supplemental assistants is elemental Magnesium and possibly in
high doses.
Another is Vitamin B-12
Another is Gama Linoleic Acid.

I'll send you the rather lengthy article on the above which was sent in to
Beck'n'Stuff list a couple years ago by Donna Crow (owner/mod) who was
helping heal her father from peripheral neuropathy among other things.
Sash
