Though chakras are just material vortices of progressively finer degrees of
subtle substance presenting us with higher and higher vantage points in
different dimensions to have a more refined spiritual perspective, the
chakras themselves will not give a spiritual experience, they just open and
allow you to look through them, and people can use the chance to engage
spiritually on that level, or not. Silver and other metals, like platinum,
and gold can activate and pop them open a little. The brain is just the
basic kit, and you can add different things to it, to add a bit of colour
according to your taste, whether it be by tweeking the prana or the
endocrinology or pharmacology, the brain is built to handle quite a lot,
and ethnobotanicals with appropriate receptor cells in the brain lend some
support for this. An interesting thing is that silver and its qualities as
a heavy metal might be perceived differently in the brains of different
people. An extreme example of this is given in the Guiness Book of Records,
where an oriental martial artist boiled some lead, then poured it through
several thick pieces of leather, then took a ladle and poured some more
straight into his mouth, after his mouth was tested by Norris McWhirter or
whoever the validator was at the time, to see he had not coated his tongue
with protective chemicals beforehand, held the lead in his mouth for some
time, (not just a few moments) then spat the lead out onto some more pieces
of leather, which it burned right through as it fell. So matter as
perceived from his perspective as a Daoist, or Buddhist, might be that of
just non-differentiated light in that particular exercise, or perhaps it
demonstrated his power to alter the qualities of matter in some other way.
I mention this due to your interest in Buddhism. Perhaps for you silver
might be especially safe. It has certainly never harmed me in any way, and
I have drunk many dozens of litres of the stuff. Far more likely fluoride
would harm your brain, as it decreases the production in your brain of
phosphatidylserine, which is responsible for growing new brain tissue by
quite a large percentage. In America, up to 90,000 ppm fluoride is in dried
instant tea and around 700 in dried egg powder. Not nice.
