Yes, I too like the smoothies. Currently using raw milk and trying to find a source for goat milk. I don't particularly like the taste of plain kefir, but I know how good it is for me. If nothing else is available I will add a few drops of a flavored liquid stevia.

The yahoo group is fantastic. The grains look like minature cauliflowers. Many that are part of the Weston A Price groups have kefir and kombucha. They usually are willing to share but the grains can be bought. I had problems with bought grains (dehydrated) getting them to grow. Kefir multiply as they mature and then you can divide and share. My husband likes kefir smoothies with fruit added. Check out http://users.sa.chariot.net.au/~dna/kefirpage.html Good luck. Kefir grains GROW so you will never run out and have plenty to share over time. zoe ________________________________ From: Kathy Tankersley <babychicks...@gmail.com> To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Sunday, 5 August 2012, 16:06 Subject: CS>kefir Hi, anoe know anything about kefir?
