I actually have a hive, and get my own honey and honey for the rest of
my family from it. No question it is pure for us. Even if you get it
from a beekeeper, it will likely have miticides in it, so ask them if
their hives are treatment free. Probably 90% of the beekeepers use
poisons in their hive for mites. I am in the other 10%, no chemicals,
pesticides, miticides, antibiotics, and no feeding of sugar or corn
syrup. That is the only way to get 100% pure unadulterated honey.

As you say, the only honey to get is honey from the beekeeper (if
that's possible), all other honey has been blended and tampered with
and in all probability has additives which slows down the action of
setting hard and going sugary whilst in storage.

Be aware that over 90% of the honey sold in the US is fake. If you
want real honey, get it locally produced by a beekeeper. All the
