Something that gets lost in the rush to kill pathogens is the possibility that
an emotion may be at the root of illnesses. Lots of different versions but Dr
Bradley Nelson's "Emotion Code" is one of the better ones. It's available
online free in PDF and so is the audio version. Dr Hamer's work in New German
Medicine is also useful.

Maintaining hydration. Avoid caffiene, alcohol, stuff like that.

Also, get plenty of collagen. Bone marrow is a very good source of this. You
can do bone broths, stuff like that. Some years ago we did an experiment on a
now defunct alt med forum. We used knox gelatin. I think we took one package
a day. It might be one package twice a day. But after one month, a number of
people had significant improvements, as far as vertebral disc regeneration.
(Purely going from self reports, as far as decreased pain and whatnot,
increased functionality.) It turned out that the people who had the biggest
benefits were the ones who drank an extra glass of water with the knox gelatin.

Ok, so what causes this "chronic dehydration of the spine" and what is the best
cure?

I've had ankylosing spondylitis for many years, even to the point of barely
being able to walk. I went to school for traditional chinese medicine to learn
how to cure myself. I now consider myself an expert in this condition.

Btw, it was cured in pigs in the 1950s, Dr. Wallach has a "Youngevity" product
that supposed to be very good, from a nutritional supplementation approach.
It's called the "Pig Arthritis" formula. I've heard good things.

You generally want to maintain very good hydration, and do exercise to maintain
range of motion. Yoga would be good. I can tell you more if you want.
However I believe the central etiology to be chronic dehydration of the spine,
or what we would call "yin deficiency."

Hi,

I have (probably) ankylosing spondylitis and one theory that has a substantial
amount of evidence is that it is caused by a bachteria: klebsiella pneumoniae.
This bacther is exceedingly resistant to antibiotics and difficult to kill. I
will try several things one of which is silver. The question is how much and
for how long? Does anyone have a clue?
