Hi Jason, I've waited to respond to your post because I've had so much company over the holidays, plus I simply don't know how to respond. I've known you for some years via the internet in various health groups, but I've never heard/read your story. I'm stunned, as well as, touched and speechless, at the same time. Over the years, one will get to know people they see post on these various groups. It's easy for me to see your intelligence. Smart people stand out even without trying, but there is more to you. You mentioned the heartlessness and inhumanity at the hospital. It's sad to see so much of that in a world that has often grown so cold. Chronic illness will often give insight that one might not otherwise see if healthy. What I really wanted to comment about you that stands out to me can be summed up in one word, and that's humane. One simple word, but profoundly lacking in this day and age. I'm so sorry you and your loved ones have had to endure so much. Why people suffer has always been a mystery to me. Oh, I know some is self inflicted, but much simply is not. It's truly an honor to know you. And Michael, if you are reading this, my prayers are with you. Compassionately, Gail
