Hi There Dee I think it depends upon the composition of the water - the study of water is very complex and very interesting, which is why I told you years ago that you needed to find distilled water with a “0" reading on the TDS meter, this was one of the first things I learned about making good quality colloidal silver. Your distiller is obviously a very good one, mine does not give me a reading of “0” all the time, so I am aware of the different compositions which the so called distilled water I purchase has, which sometimes causes me to have to do a double or triple distillation to get to as near a “0” reading as is possible. Of course you can make colloidal silver with a less clean water, however for me to do a distillation is not a problem as I do it over night, and then use it first thing in the morning sometimes it is still warm which of course enhances the process of making the colloidal silver by cutting down the time to get whatever reading you choose to have for your brew, mine I stop at 10 and then it settles over time in storage to 5 !!!! For my gel I run the process up to 20 and make the gel immediately to disallow for settle !!!!! The tricks of the trade. Take good care and have a wonderful day in that not too bad today weather over your side !!!! Regards Sandee🐬 Attitude is everything !!! The water consistently reads '0' on my meter (cheap from Amazon) when distilled whereas it read over 300 before distilling....Dee Sent from my iPad > On 20 Feb 2015, at 14:47, sol <sol...@sweetwaterhsa.com> wrote: > > I have cleaned my SG-6 brew jar (gallon) and installed brand new electrodes. > I don't remember you mentioning if cleaning with peroxide is ok?
