Hi RaVen, I was always told that dolomite held the perfect proportions of calcium, magnesium, and zinc, so always purchased the combination supplement in those proportions, but I think potassium must fit into the equation somewhere, too. Recently, I began to eat some calcium gummies my husband stopped taking (waste not want not) when I craved something sweet (I know, but it's been a long winter) and now notice I'm having symptoms of potassium deficiency. As a Lymie, I've always worried about magnesium deficiency, but have tested well for that. Whenever I have spasms or cramps, it's potassium-need at the bottom of it. Could be that my extra calcium required more potassium to be used, taking from the body, just as taking L-tryptophan uses more B6 and can bring on symptoms of B6 deficiency.
