Hi All, As long as I have been hanging around here, you would think I would know all the answers to making my own but I have used store bought till recently. My silver either looks blackish while being made or looks golden and then turns blackish some timer later, within a few days/week. While making ,it looks like the cloud coming off the wire is black. I remember seeing reference to possibly getting sterling wire and this making the wrong color. How can I be sure my wire is the right wire? Can I take it to a local jeweler and can they tell me?
