I machined down a #14 ga wire to 0.020 that is about 1/4" long and made a run
with
it.
Today I have made four 2 liter HVAC arc with CO2 gas blanket all at diferent
run
times, as below.

The T.E. was measured in a total dark room (10:15 pm) in the basement with no
lights. V= Very; W=Weak.
In all cases the arc was blue. If any red or yellow shows up the NO3 will
increase.
I have not had time to run Ag ppm but in the past it has followed rather closely
to the final conductance.
The finer arc point had no effect on the production rate.
Are you using a CO2 gas blanket or how are you generating the plasma? In what
ambient?\
