Roger; Can you describe your setup? If I get any color in the arc then the conductance goes sky high as does the NO3.
I just shutdown a 1'15" run to look at the center electrode with my measuring microscope, and I find a 0.020" bright silver ball. The NO3 is zero and the ppm is 8.8. I have started another run for the same time but have added 12% of the previous 8.8 ppm run, as Bill Biagioli reports higher ppm's for the same time by a fctor of two. So I will try it. Generally it takes 2'30" to get 25 ppm. and the final conductance is about 75 uS at end of brew. Hope this helps. "Ole Bob" -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
