Dear John, YOu are right about immunity of the individual being "king". I write a gardening column for a local newspaper, one of two columns I write, and I regularly tell my readers that you do not need pesticides if you have healthy plants. Pests only go after weak and sickly plants. And I tell them one needs to conditon soil to have healthy plants, as in heavey minerlization of the soils as it is minerals, not petrochemical fertilizers that help plants to build a strong immune system
