Ha Barb & folks, Most primitive tribes understand sharing as a concept - even with the insects - only "civilised/advanced" humans don't. To the sane world, the idea of sharing is part of the Master Program (whatever it is) exactly as is NATURAL culling .
I remember a famous Bumoh (magician/wise one in Malayu) telling me once that The Force seemed to work with the number 5 constantly. 1 in 5 of all living things will be culled and if you are "greedy" you sow the seeds of your own destruction. He was amazed at the Western greed of wanting to not share what grew, with the rest of the world's inhabitants, like the insects. Of course 20% of any crop will be eaten by insects! That's the idea, to get rid of the weak ones! I told him that an ancient book of knowledge called Ku a'la said exactly the same thing and it added the rider that if you have a "connection" with a weaker thing, you could help it to live a while, provided you never let it breed and weaken the rest........ He laughed and repeated a word I had recently taught him about Western Medical ideas: "triage". He tried to teach me about "feeling other things needs" but I never made it. He grew the most astounding things in his padang(field) that no botanist would believe, but he "asked" the seeds/plantlings would they like to live there, first. He also did tell me that there is no such thing as "naturally bad soil" only "killed soil", but that The Force would show you what was compatible with what. He told me I would have to learn to "test" instead of the "other seeing". He meant plant a bit and see what happened. Wonder why we don't seem to grasp that????? But we Westerners are always trying to improve on The Plan, when even *I* know Roses are hopeless in non-clay soil....... Then I went and read "Secrets Of The Soil"............................. a whole different ballgame began. Back on topic: :-) Immunity is the province of the healthy, it seems. Some of us weaker ones that should have probably been culled by now, like me, can use all sorts of tricks to stretch things out, like CS, controlled environments, super-careful ingestion, but we never reach optimum living or biologically possible longevity.
