Hi Ya'all,

When ever some one spells out thier own method for making CS, "Ole Bob"
sets up to make it. Now I have not run all of the combinations of DW
available so I choose the very best that is available in Kansas City.
Wal-Mart made in Hazelwood ,MO.
It always tests at about 0.22 uS which will show 0.0 on your Hanna
meters. Also tested was Absopure that has a initial conductance of 5.0
uS. The difference in conduvtivity shows up graphically in the initial
currents in the brew cell, and in the final current after a specific
time. In this case one hour.. That is why I "beat the drums" for a DMM
in the circuit.

Wal-Mart DW; Intial I = ,35 ma.; final current before wiping electrodes
= 64.9 ma; measured after wiping the electrodes 13.4 ma. While this was
brewing I reduced the lighting so that I could watch the T.E. as it
formed.Between the electrodes there was a rapid build up of T.E. but the
rest of the solution had almost not T.E. After the first wipe at 30
minutes the T.E. became more uniform as the eff4cts of the particle
charge distributes it self. The final conductance 40 uS and the PPM =
13.64. Note that the Conductance is not stable until 24 to 48 houts
later. At the three hour point it was 43 uS. The CS has a strong T.E.
and no taste, and crystal clear.

Absopure DW; Initial I = .72 ma.; the current at the half way point (30
min) before wipe was 3.39 ma. and after wipe was 2.24 ma. After a total
of 60 minutes the current before wipe was 75.2 ma, and after wipe it was
14.0 ma. The Conductance was 38 uS and the PPM = 17.6 .

With constant stirring that would never have happened. You could also
avoid high current drain with a simple $10.00 CC adapter.
