Hi Alain,

The CC adapter is of value to those who are using batteries. Nine volt batteries
do not like the high current that I measured using a good poer supply.

Does the water made form snow have a chemical taste? Have we polluted your snow
up there?

If it tastes all right then give it a try. Just watch the brew operation and see
what goes on. If the CS gets cloudy then the snow is not pure water, but the CS
would still be useable.

If you have a meter in the circuit the initial cell current will give you a good
indication as to the purity. The best DW here will have an initial current of .2
to .3 ma with 1 1/2" spacing and 4" wet length. The worst DW here runs about 4
to 5 ma.
