You got that right, Elaine, it is scary. The store bought water says Carbon Filtered, Steam Distilled, Micron Filtered and Ozonated. I don't see how you can improve on that. I tested it again and it was only 10 ppm. Don't worry about being able to use A Hanna Tester, its so easy, just stick the thing in the water and you get an instant reading. I'm glad I had it or I would not have known that my distiller is probably ready for the dump. Not good timing as we are leaving for vacation on Tues. and I wanted to make some CS to take along, and don't have enough time to buy a new distiller, or to have one shipped. Gloom, despair and agony... 2 weeks without CS and i will have boils, fever blisters and I don't know what all.
