For pesky house ants: 1/4 c confect sugar + 1 tb borax...sprinkle on trails and/or place in small lids (keep it away from pets an children), ants will take it to the queen. This works!!
I havent tried it with fire ants, but maybe?? Double or triple the mixture add to CS, pour on and around the mound. If anyone tries this let me know how effective.
