This is exactly what I have been telling my now 17.5 year old daughter for
the past 2 years.  When you move out, fine, but until then, "NO"!  I'm sure
CS would handle anything belly button piercing could produce, externally and
given internally, but figure it's a phase, since everyone is doing it and I
want her to handle it on her own, if she STILL wants to do this when she
moves out.  My son wanted his tongue pierced, I said the same thing.  He
moved out at the age of 19, and will be 22 this year and has NOT pierced
himself anywhere, thankfully, IMO! :-)
