Ivan: Fantastic... I bet there are quality earths in your area...
Those mud pools are amazing. Where there are mud pools formed via geothermal activity, there are often usable clay deposits nearby. The muds themselves can be quite therapuetic, and often contain a substantial amount of smectite clay. Thanks for the response! New Zealand has always been quite appealing to me.
