Just guessing but wouldn't mixing CS with oils, essential or otherwise, make it a whole lot less effective? Didn't someone say way back that using CS as the water portion of handmade creams did not stop mold growth? It seemed to me that an oil would "coat" the silver ions/particles, rendering them unable to contact and kill bacteria.
