We were already using Norton with auto updates and I don't know what else. He got rid of Kazaa and we don't have so many popups anymore so maybe that was part of the problem. And there is a pop up killer running constantly. There is also something that helps with spyware as we were getting tons of that before. Not a problem now. I will show him your suggestions.
