It is a naturally ocurring substance that has many therapeutic effects
in the body. It is used with CS because it transports molecules of less
than 100 daltons molecular weight (nothing large like bacteria etc)
through the body tissues into cells and tissues not normally reached by
that substance otherwise or in as high a concentration or short a time.

It is also antinflammatory, increases circulation, blocks the pain
signal in C nerve fibers, causes traumatized or cancer cells to return
to normal, antioxidant, used for organ transport / preservation, busts
clots (can prevent heart attack and stroke if given orally or IV, 2
teaspoons orally is a normal maintenance dose), stops bleeding (a cut on
your finger will stop bleeding immediately) . . . see DMSO Nature's
Healer by Morton Walker for the whole amazing story including journal
citations. Amazon.com has it for ~$11 -- a very wise purchase.

www.jacoblab.com sells a low odor variety. The one draw back is that it
give you a garlic smell and taste in your mouth. It is part of many
foods and the same substance, Dimethyl Sulfide, in those foods also
gives you the same effect, just not as strong due to amount.

Many atheletes use it for immediate healing. The horse industry has used
it for 35 years. Some people use it to extract herbs and apply the
mixture topically. You can mix B12 (sublingual) and other vitamins with
it and apply topically.

Ok that's enough for now.;-)
