My wife and I have drinking raw goats milk all summer and it is sweet and
delicious. No gamey taste or off taste of any kind. The goat farmer wins
prizes for his goats and their milk. We had goats milk a few years ago
that we couldn't stomach so I know the difference. I think it depends on
what they eat.

Did you mean, ".whatever the goat eats about 20 minutes before milking."?

Well, the goat`s milk smells fine and tastes fine, until it is out of your
mouth,
then there is an aftertaste that I don`t care for. The living cow`s milk
doesn`t have that.
I just had a banana sliced into a cup of the cream. Now that was really
good!!
Does anyone know how much CS is good to put into fresh milk to keep it
that way??

Marshalee,

Yes, the difference is amazing. However, don't give up on the goats' milk.
When my children were young, I went to a nearby farm to buy fresh goat milk.
The milk never had that "off" smell or flavor. I was told because it's
whatever the goat smells about 20 minutes prior to milking. Her goats were
brought in and stood before a manger of alfalfa.
