What are your opinions about whether CS has any anti-inflammatory effect on its own... behind my question is the thought of whether it would be beneficial in counteracting inflammatory conditions or state related to autoimmune disorders, whether it be an acute episode or a chronic, mild, persistent situation.

This would be exclusive of conditions related to some sort of microbial infection, i.e. yeast, bacterial, viral, or fungal... but purely the inflammatory response sans infection.
