The dentist took out the amalgam and put in composite. Since all my
other amalgams had already been removed and replaced first with inlays,
later with crowns, that took care of that problem for me. No idea if I
have amalgam left under the crowns, but hope not.
What I do have though is 7 root canal teeth, none of which I want to
remove and just leave holes, and I can't afford to do anything about
them now. So I'm just using a lot of CS, and CS with DMSO as a mouth
rinse and hold, as long as I can. Tastes disgusting.
