The dentist took out the amalgam and put in composite. Since all my other amalgams had already been removed and replaced first with inlays, later with crowns, that took care of that problem for me. No idea if I have amalgam left under the crowns, but hope not. What I do have though is 7 root canal teeth, none of which I want to remove and just leave holes, and I can't afford to do anything about them now. So I'm just using a lot of CS, and CS with DMSO as a mouth rinse and hold, as long as I can. Tastes disgusting.

Hi Sol,

What did you do? Did you remove the amalgam or the gold?
