I now understand those who are vehemently apposed to "top posting".
The only other group that I have anything to do with is

and the members there know me well enough not to take me the wrong way.
They also have a nice feature that allows you to automatically "quote" and
include the text of the message to witch you are responding. This has
perhaps made me a bit lax. I certainly have no right to expect a reader to
scroll down to intemperate the context of my message. I sincerely apologize
to any member who was offended by my post.
