For the past 16 days I've watered two Irish ivy cuttings; one with water
brought to a hard boil in a 500W microwave and one with water brought to a hard
boil on an electric stove top.
A glass container was used for both. Each plant was planted in the same size
and type pot with Scotts metro mix 200 growing media. Each was watered once
every 3 days with 1/4 cup from identical storage containers. This was/is a
blind study as I still don't know which plant is getting which water. As of day
16 both plants are doing equally well. I have not been able to repeat the
results of the science project reported on the silver-list.
I'm wondering if anyone else has tried to replicate the original findings.
