His Dr. said to use regular niacin to bring down cholesterol

My doctor, ( A great Alternative Doctor ) told me to take 1000 mg per day of sustained release niacin for the
reduction of fibrinogen. ( 500 mg in the AM and 500 mg in the PM )

At one time my levels were high our of range. Today they are within the range but still higher than he suggests.

I have not been doing this long enough to say that it is working.

Some of my many supplements and IV EDTA may have brought this down near 200 points. It was 600 Plus a year or so ago.

My report shows a range for Fibrinogen as 233 to 475. My level was 465. He suggests a level of 300 to 350.
The nattokinase is to help this also. I take 1

C-reactive Protein is a bit high at 1.0 Homocysteine is 7.9. This was about 6.0 two years ago. Range is 5 to 12.

Blood Insulin range is 3 to 21 and my reading was a 5 when I had the test. This does change often I understand so any reading is not permanent. Many people can have a normal glucose and the blood insulin can be 5 or more times as high as it should be. I consider this a mistake of the medical profession, NOT checking blood insulin.

What are the cholesterol ranges you are working with?

Wayne
