I have had 3 of them in my life. All during a one week period. Since I
knew what it was, I actually sat back and enjoyed it, as an interesting
learning experience. I will never forget it, really bizarre. Now that I
have experienced it though, I don't particularly want any more. I had no
headache during or following it, but then I rarely get headachs.

Mine was more jagged, with triangular points facing in, like sharks teeth,
and was black and not in color, but this is a pretty good simulation.

That is the classical symptoms for a "Visual migrane". Completely
harmless, unless you are driving or something and it leads to an
accident. They normally go away in 15 to 30 minutes after the tunnel
vision. The only thing I have found that works on them is hand on
healing or Reiki, which can make them go away in about 30 seconds.
