Lenny writes: Unless we get distracted in the bliss-ninnyhood that many seem to get caught up in without facing many of the things that Doug talks about.
I have always wondered who coined the term bliss-ninny and why?
To whom should it be applied.  Or should it be applied at all? Perhaps
the observation of what is seen as another's joy is simply an individual
perception. And that person labeled a bliss-ninny doesn't give a darn
-- just as the bumblebee who defies the laws of aerodynamics doesn't
give a whit and flies anyway.

Is not ACIM full of promises of peace and joy?  Can we not accept it
now?   Is not real joy the result of having removed blocks. How many
years does it take?  Is bliss reserved for "saints" and those deemed
by the perception of the spiritual society to be "fully" awakened while
the rest of us are left to trudge along lugging our load of heavy blocks?
Who can be the judge of another's joy?

Whichever, I am remembering a man who said he left a new age
church because he "got tired of having to be so damn happy all
the time."  Perhaps this is an example of bliss having to be
conjured up and not a natur-Real result of joy found within.

These are just rhetorical questions and not directed to anyone
in particuar.  I am not asking for an explanation; nor for anyone to
defend a position.

With love,

Ragna
