Another related suggestion is to create social-psychology simulations in
virtual worlds...

Standard social-psych sim games like stag hunt,

etc. could be implemented in a virtual world, and used to study peoples'
interactions.  These could then be used to help train AI's to interact
socially in a manner similar to people... and also to run studies of
crosscultural human psychology etc...
