I have a remark on note in chapter 4. User Agent
Client Behaviour of draft-ietf-simple-im-session-00.txt
It says that it's not allowed to omit MESSAGE media
session from INVITE as there is likelyhood that UAS will not propose the MESSAGE
media.
But for 3PCC application, it would
be very useful. And I think that in the case of 3PCC, there is good
that MESSAGE session is proposed by UAS in 200 OK.
In case of 3PCC UAS is a SIP end device, while UAC
(which sends INVITE) is controller of 3PCC. So it is obvious that the entity
which will want to send MESSAGEs is UAS and that's why it should propose media.
And it can do it in 200 OK.
Could somebody involved confirm
this?
