I am implementing a solution based on SIP. I am using X-lite version 3.0. I have done the registration part. I have a few questions about the registration part 1. When I start the Sip phone it registers on my server and my server sends back a 200 response. Now If I kill the SIPPhone application from the task manager how can my server find out that the phone is no longer connected to the server??? 2. Also when I deregister my phone sends the same REGISTER request to the server. Currently I am deregistering the phone if the phone is already registered and there is an entry in my database. My question here is how do I know if a request is a REGISTER request or a DEREGISTER request. Have a nice day.
