Hi all, Somehow, voip client configures connection address paramter in INVITE SDP as private ip address like 192.XXX.XXX.XXX or 10.XXX.XXX.XXX. There is no problem in message syntax. If UAS can't accept the media offer in INVITE from UAC because of private connect address, which sip response should be sent to UAC? Both 488(Not Acceptable Here) and 606(Not Acceptable) work?
By the way, during the interop with pstn termination carrier, I found that certain carrier sent BYE shortly after the session had been established(INVITE->200OK->ACK) in case of a private connection address in SDP. What is a RECOMMENDED UAS behavior? sending final response to INVITE or sending BYE? Thanks in advance for any comment.
