Well, the problem is that you do apparently gain some benefit from the presence of the Identity header when used with DTLS-SRTP. The DTLS-SRTP draft says: > The certificate fingerprints are sent in SDP over SIP as part of the > offer/answer exchange. The SIP Identity mechanism [RFC4474] is used > to provide integrity for the fingerprints.
