How are some of you dealing with the 911 requirement when it comes to remote
phones?
I have agreements in place which are pretty much just our updating a text file
and firing
it off to our providers which I'm not very comfortable with.

The providers like to say 'it is extremely expensive to set up your own ps/ali
terminal/server but like anything else, I take things with a grain of salt
because it's
not always the case.

Is there such a thing as a ps/ali server which is first of all, open source and
if not,
are there any Internet based services which might be a better way than updating
a text
file. I just don't want the provider to say they didn't get the update if
something goes
wrong, for example.

Mike
