I was hoping that the system was fairly standardized by now and that there 
might be 
options other than Intrado for example. In fact, other than other proprietary 
systems I 
don't know the names of, Intrado is the only gateway I know of by name.

Yes, this makes sense and the responsibilities usually flow up the line, 
provider wise so 
I suppose no one wants to take changes.

It was worth asking but I still wonder how most folks using sipx in this case, 
handle this 
problem. Do most maintain some sort of list which they update the provider 
with? In our 
case, we update on an Intrado system.
