Gary - I also only have a single server...I wish I didn't spaz when no phones 
were working so I could look at logs/etc...

But when no phones are working...well, panic is a logical response.

I only find the need to send profiles after a rpm update involving sipx 
packages. Sometimes I do it when I'm making a lot of changes, but thats the 
only time I do it.
