This wiki post was only meant to be proof of concept, showing how one could
use FreeSWITCH to provide SIP trunking services for sipX. Whether or not we
will use this method for SIP trunking in sipX remains to be seen.

Also, there was an audio issue with hairpinned calls in FreeSWITCH where a
call is forwarded out the same trunk on which it originated. Chris Rawlings
has been working with Sangoma (who uses FreeSWITCH at the core of their SBC
product) to get these issues resolved.
