Hi Charlie, Should I use sipXTapi with SPEEX or without SPEEX?
When I build sipXtapi without SPEEX, the remote party complaint He only hear his echo. This is a known issue with Speex. There are some tuning parameters that MIGHT be able to help (look at the speex_preprocess resource in sipx_medialib.) Otherwise, turn of the AGC. sipxtapi is the more stable of the branches. They should stay fairly close for voice, but media-update is being used to develop video support.
