DTX stay for Discontinuous Transmission. Inside sipXmediaLib frames of audio are flowing through many so called "resources", which are processing blocks. Talking generic, if you have a patch which fix some bug it will be checked in to svn if it (1) really fix the bug and (2) conform to coding style guidelines.
