Hey, Wondering if someone off the top of their head knows where systemimager/systemconfigurator grabs the HOSTNAME of the imaged system from? DHCPD assigns the right hostname to the system and I checked the hosts file too and that's fine.
While reimaging my systems I keep getting: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# hostname server01.us.oracle.com.us.oracle.com [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# cat /etc/hosts # Do not remove the following line, or various programs # that require network functionality will fail. 127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost 1.1.1.1 server01.us.oracle.com server01 DNS returns the right result too: Z:\>nslookup 1.1.1.1 Server: dnsserver Address: 100.100.100.100 Name: server01.us.oracle.com Address: 1.1.1.1 It keeps appending an extra .us.oracle.com on the end.
