Good point...that sends me scurrying away in terror. It's really more of a
technical intro to the file format that would be useful if you want to edit
the .bib file in a text editor. And if you want to do that, you wouldn't be
using BibDesk. In fact, I think I saw a blog post mentioning this as a
frightening introduction a couple months ago.

We really need some screencasts. Any volunteers with screencast software?

In lieu of that, try this:

- launch BibDesk
- create a new document (cmd-shift-n)
- create a new publication (cmd-n), which opens an editor window
    - set its type, fill in fields, add notes
    - drop a file on the blue view that says "Drop Files Here"
    - drag a URL from Safari to that view
    - close the editor window
- back in the main window, try searching via the toolbar
- try the Searches menu; connect to Library of Congress
- grouping features are similar to Mail and other programs

To me, all the features are intuitive and don't need explanation; after all,
the code is the documentation :). That accounts for some of the
documentation problems, and why user feedback/contributions would be really
helpful.
