That's not "not working". It just works differently. It always saves the settings for the *normal* mode (i.e. non full screen). Because that's how you always open documents (and also bookmarks). Settings used during full screen mode are appropriate for full screen mode, *especially* if they are different from normal mode settings (that's just plain logic). As a result also step 7 does nothing because the settings in the bookmark are appropriate for normal mode, and don't necessarily apply to full screen mode, so they're ignored.
