Hey Siegard, I will answer between your lines. "1. I seem to remember reading in previous posts on this list that it is recommended not to check the "Let Skype adjust my Audio Settings" checkbox under "Tools", "Options" and "Audio". Is that correct and, if so, why is that the recommended setting? I am asking this because I just purchased an Ipevo Free-1 USB Skype phone and it works much better if I check this option and so far I have not experienced any negative effects because of it."
Ehm, so I think it depends much on our individual audio settings in Windows. In my case, I noticed that Skype tended to make my microphone level in windows very low, so someone suggested me to uncheck it. "2. I also seem to remember that Skype had an option to automatically pause Winamp if a call was coming in. I found this a useful feature, but can't seem to find it under any of the tabs in the Options. Has that feature been removed?" Yes, I'm afraid it is. Sincerely don't know why. Anyway, I use Windows Media Player 10 so it does not matter for me. Bye! Barbuz --- avast!
