Hi set your computers sound card to be the default card. Then jaws will come through that card. Now set skype up to come through the headset and maybe sapi 5 to come through the headset. Now leave the headset alone Switch jaws to sapi 5 so you can hear it threw the headset when you are using it and then switch back to eloquence so it will go through your default card when you're not using the headset. If I unplug the headset, which I need to do if I want sound to come out of my speakers, skype changes it's audio properties so that the speakers and microphone are set to: default windows device. I'd like to be able to use the headset for skype, but when it's plugged in. I don't want to have to have the headset plugged in all the time, because it means I have to wear the headset to listen to jaws. Does anyone have any ideas about fixing this?
