Ok.. Let's see a few things I read in Skype help long time ago... Firstable, is the Skype sound device set to Windows default or specific sound card? Skype prefered setting is prefered sound card. Second thing.. is the "Let Skype adjust my audio..." in the same options tab active or not? You ca always try the opposite setting. If I understand the situation well, the PC stays muted after hanging the call. Did you try to call someone and what happens to sound in that case? And, is this situation an actual mute with the check sign on the Mute check box or it's just a blocked sound output?
