Oh here I go again, but you guys are a wealth of information.
I have always been able to use either my netbook's built-in mike, or the one on my headphones. The headset has two jacks, as opposed to a USB connector. Tonight, my netbook mike won't work. And, when I shut down the computer, or rather, restarted it, it said saving settings, after all those silly error messages. To the best of my knowledge, I hadn't changed any settings that should have affected the netbook mike. Any ideas what I might try?
Also, when a contact comes online, it isn't announcing who it is, although it does tell me who is calling me. I have all the check boxes in the notifications options checked. Any thoughts about that?
