Hi! I'm still using Internet Explorer 8 here, and not having any problems adding new Skype contacts, so it's quite pissible that there is some link between using IE9 and the issue where Skype crashes when adding new contacts. This has put me off upgrading to IE9 even more, so I plan to stick with IE8 as long as I can: that doesn't mean I whould stop people upgrading to IE9 if they want to, though, I just don't want to do that myself right now. And if I'm not mistaking, the window in witch we have to type our intro message and press the "Send request" button, is web-based using the HTML engine of the Internet Explorer version available on the system in question. So, the problem might be related to IE9 in some way.
